Tony Gee and Partners wish to recruit a Principal/Senior Electrification Design Engineer to develop and lead a new design team within Tony Gee’s multi-discipline rail design group which is heavily involved with electrification and infrastructure projects throughout the UK.
The design work will mainly involve the basic design and allocation design of OLE systems associated with design and build projects ranging from major grade separated junction renewals and station enhancements to modifications of existing systems to enable the installation of new infrastructure such as overbridges and footbridges.
The candidate should have a suitable professional engineering qualification and sufficient experience in OLE basic and allocation design to act as CRE for OLE design and assist the management to achieve accreditation required by NR/SP/ELP/21130. Experience in other aspects of OLE and Electrification design in UK and overseas would be beneficial.
The OLE design team will be located in Tony Gee’s Birmingham, Luton or Esher (Surrey) office to complement the existing multi-disciplinary rail infrastructure design teams and the candidate will take full responsibility for the direction of the OLE design within the practice and the selection and training of graduates and technicians.
Tony Gee has a reputation amongst contractors and Network Rail for providing a collaborative and integrated approach to the delivery of professional services in the industry. The business objective is to build on this reputation to provide a broader range of services to meet the demands of the electrification programme scheduled for the next decade. The practice is looking for a candidate who has the desire to join an expanding business, contribute toward its growth and share in the success.
